Carbon tube

Postby Chris Bradbury » May 1st, 2012, 2:15 pm

Can anyone recommend a good supplier of carbon tube for wing spars?

I need:

1/2" (12.7mm) x 29" (750mm)
1/2" (12.7mm) x 26" (660mm)
And
0.86" (21.9mm) x 29" (750mm)

Thanks for the tips guys, but I'm still struggling with size. It seems many folk will do the 1/2" size, it's the weird 21.8mm I'm struggling with.

I've managed to find this place now that does the right size, so my last question now is does this look like the right stuff. There are so many types of carbon tube out there, so I'd hate to spend £70 on the wrong thing.
