futaba model guard

Has anyone used the Futaba model guard,if so your comments would be much appreciated,and where you obtained it.

Allan,I saw the web site a while ago,and thought it was a good idea but before I tried one I thought it was worth enquiring
if anyone was using this item. ps. no comment on the JR.

Is this unit for 35mhz only? I am sure my 2.4 tx won't let you use any other model than the one on the screen anyway.

Paul,if your tx is a Spectrum or JR you do not require one of these units,because model match is built in.It is a simple warning
device for non model match radio systems,ie. Futaba, Hitec etc. when the wrong model has been selected, 35 or 2.4.

Thanks Brian, My tranny is spektrum, I assumed all 2.4 sets were the same in this respect because of the binding of the tx to rx
