Can anyone help with the current specification number for Dural for an undercart for my 17ft Choucas.The model weighs 33lb.The present u,cart is made from carbon/glass epoxy laminate.It failed on a first flight touch and go takeoff(I slackened off the elevator too soon).The bare legs weigh 8 ozs, alluminium ones would weigh 12 ozs and a steel gauge plate one,32 ozs.Each leg is 2" wide,16" long and 1/8th" thick,I would prefer to go down the Duralumin route providing that it is strong enough and available.
