Engine 182 Saito Twin (Twin Carbs ) Within a cowl thats time consuming to remove.
Is the set up below practical, I know it is not standard,twintanks 6 oze ea (space tight)
3 outlet tank, lowest 1st = clunk to > carb 50mm run (no Priming req.)
2nd = brass breather tube 90deg bend to tank bottom(empting}
3rd = exhaust > spot filler onto tank (pressure) ?
Im sure you are aware that the spot filler blocks off the exhaust when filling and then allows straight thro for pressure when not.t The above would be a very clean fuel delivery and
allow easy empting.

Hi Dave, my method for plumbing tanks, possably not everybody would agree with me, but this is how I do the job.

3 outlet tank, lowest 1st = clunk to > carb
2nd = filling/empting tube 90deg bend to tank BOTTOM, fill through this one, plugged when flying.
3rd = exhaust > tank (pressure) TOP, also overflow through exhaust when tank is full.

Hi Dave, I would agree with Paul. Very similar but subtly different!

You will need to fill and de-fuel through your '2nd outlet'. That way the tank can vent fresh air rather than fresh fuel to atmosphere.


Don't worry about the 'spot filler' on the 3rd outlet.
