exhaust nipple and size?

would you use silicon tubing or tygon petrol tubing to plumb

secondly,

has any one drill and tapped an exhaust for smoke use? where would you dill tap the exhaust, best place, ? photos would help,

the engine exhaust is a pitts type twin

the smoke Tank
would you use 2 way or 3 way set up? for tubing?

please advise

Richard, in the pic on the other thread the black pipes go on the silencers, never had a craptrap on the system, if you filter your smoke fluid as you fill up and use a filtered clunk you will have no problems, didn't use an antisyphon valve either. Depending on what engine you are useing you can buy an exhaust ready for smoke with a pipe inside the silencer to heat the fluid before it ie sprayed into the exhaust gases, works better than just putting a nipple on the body. The tubing you use depends on what smoke fluid you use, I used (dare I say it) red disol with a bit of hi-tran oil in it so tygon pipe was used. I prefere a 3 pipe set up on the tank, saves pulling the tube off to fill the tank, also as you fill through the third pipe you do not pump fluid the wrong way through the filtered clunk.

thanks for explaining the way you had it set up, if that work i will put into action,

the exhaust i am looking are from just engines with smoke,

i go with the 3way set up on the tank and pips will be tygon, antisyphon valve will be required for pitts exhaust after doing a been of reading as this site below the frame in the cowl

mt smoke fluid to start with,

engine will be eme60 or a dle 61, with pitts (2 stroke)

not sure 2 blade or 3 blade prop???? need to test this??
