I have just completed a blohm/voss ha 139 sea plane upgraded from plans for an electric set up
it has an 8 Ft wing span x 15" chord fitted with 4. 15cc petrols I have had to do quite a bit of upgrading to accommodate the gas engines the the all up weight comes out at 30 lbs dry I have
done the wing loading calculations which come to 48 ozs/ 3 lbs a square Foot i am a bit concerned
that this is to much any thorts from builders would be appreciated thanks TERRY.

Try wing cubic loading for a large model. Quite a good article
