Bing carbs

Postby Dave Collis 2296 » July 30th, 2015, 10:37 pm

Gentlemen.

I have a Moki 400 equipped with a Bing 49A carb. After 5 years of use, I decided to put in new gaskets, diaphragms etc. as a preventative measure. The engine/carb still work well, just seems about time for a new kit.
However, over here in the Colonies all Bing carbs and parts are discontinued and NLA.

Does anybody have any leads as to where I might obtain a carb kit and/or carb?

Thanks for and assistance you can provide.

Cheers,
Dave.

Thank you, Tony.
I fired off an e-mail to them. I think I have the only 400 with a Bing carb. Most seem to have either a Walbro or Zama.

Cheers,
Dave.

No joy there. No listing for a Bing 49(a).
The search continues.........

Dave.

Hi Dave ,

Have a look at Rowena Motors website - they may have them
