Rcexl opto kill switch

Postby paul needham » March 25th, 2016, 7:04 am

Anybody had this problem ?
I am setting up a model using a JR XG14 dmss radio, 2 JR RG712BX receivers going into a JR XB1-14DRS XPort Duo, using the 14 pwm ports, everything works fine except the 2 Rcexl opto engine kill switches, they do not work at all with this set up, they are on separate channels not a Y lead, have tried them with my dsm2 system and they work fine, have put a servo into the channels that the kill switches were in and they work also, anybody got any ideas ?

Signal voltage not high enough. Had the same problem myself. No easy fix with the set up you have. You could try going direct from the receivers and bypassing the XPort if your installation will allow it and still give you the redundancy you need.
