Petrol engine choices for a Bryant Hawker Fury

This is my winter project, a 60" Dennis Bryant Hawker Fury which needs a recover, suggested engine on the plans is a .60 two stroke, the seller said he thouhght that this one had a .70 O.S four stroke fitted previously, i have found one on line that used a .90 4 stroke. I don`t do Glow engines due to the mess, most of my planes are electric and i have a couple of petrols which i really enjoy. I would like to go petrol with this and would like to hear any suggestions from those with more knowledge of the suitable engines for this bearing in mind the streamlined nose. What would fit in with out too much hacking of the cowl, there is a hole underneath where the 4 stroke head came out.
Alternative is to go the electric route if i can`t come up with something suitable............
Many thanks in advance........Martin

i am not a fan of glow like you i have mix of electric and petrol, personally if this was my plane i would go 15-20cc petrol, evolution do a good range, hobbyking do a an 15-26cc, ok range if you jut want to is as a every day hack
from the design is would make a good electric but battery changing is going to make it difficult a G60 motor might do the job it all depends on AUW
i am only going on the past experiences from my tiggie, which is turning a mare for wing fixings?

I cant in honesty recommend the EVO 10 cc petrol. I think that size is a bit small, without a Walbro type pump its not good. Nothing but trouble for me...

One engine i was looking at was the NGH GT17, has anyone any thoughts on these, the engine mount fitted seems to fit the width of this motor so it would hopefully not be too much hassle to fit it, the exhaust system would need some thought though.

This and the Z20 are the only ones of that size worth considering. Under 20cc I would go 4 stroke or el#t#ic

this is a first for me i am going to have to agree with Alan and Bob
look to see fir you can get a small pitts exhaust or look at just engines range of fitted exhaust if you with standard fit
if possible look at RA rear fit exhaust as you dealing with a tight space
i have the NGH 38cc fs in my tiggie lovely engine for the money

I think on reflection and following the comments here i will go the electric route, the 20 size motors are going to be too much for this, the radiator scoop under the belly lends itself to fitting a sound system so i may look at that..............Martin
