No ,I am not a tailor,I have a 7ft span Miles Sparrowhawk,made by Seagull.It flies nice,but the design of the undercarriage could be better.After two or three landings the trouser leg fairings are Kaput.I no longer have a source of lithoplate,but I am wondering about using thick,semi rigid polythene sheet.The fairings are a straight wrapparound,so no moulding required.I would hope that the material would flex and then spring back.Any other ideas would be appreciated.

Made mine for the DH94 out of 1/32nd ply

You could try an “empty large pop/water bottle” the material is already a tube, it’s really cheap too..
Use a heat gun to form it into the required shape over a wooden plug..
Flat the surface with a scotch brite or scouring pad and it takes paint without a problem!

I have a sheet of litho you could have. Its about 3ft sqare.
