JR DX12.

Hi all,
Is there anyone out there that can fix JR transmitters,
I have a dx12 that has developed a fault, any information or advice welcome.

For what its worth Mac Gregor industries still sell JR Gear ,and I believe service it.

No, they don’t, at least, not dsm2 sets, there’s a disclaimer on their site

Mick Ridley on the south coast is again dealing with JR repairs. Model Radio Workshop, do a google search

Fault was described to Mick, it was something he had ever experienced, the set simply stops working when it’s cold,

Do you mean if you switch on when the Tx is cold, the screen pulses and it does not boot up? If so, its the Tx battery is struggling to deliver the higher current requirement during the DSM boot up when the output searches for a connection.
New battery.
