Hi,
Just installed a YEP 80a esc in my latest creation.

Motor: Tomcat G601 5030 400kv
Esc: YEP 80a sbec
Batt: Overlander 5S 5800mah
Prop: 16x6 wooden Menz (balanced)
Short static run shows approx. 20 amps full throttle. (not sure how accurate this is)

When I connect up, a red led on the rear of the esc comes on, and stays on until throttle is about 1/2 open. As the throttle is advanced further, the red led dims until full throttle, when the led is off completely.

I've looked through the online manual, but no mention of the light. Also searched other forums, but to no avail.

I don't know whether its a warning, and would rather not smoke it on its maiden!
Any ideas?

Think I've sorted it out. Reprogrammed throttle range using the prog card, now led stays on all the time.
