Just wondering if any present or past users of the subject transmitter have seen the following issue. Up to now the transmitter has worked without issue. I was test running a model the other day and all was well. After the test run I switched off the transmitter. Shortly afterwards on switching it on again the screen lit up with the following message.

BACK - UP ERROR !! DATA IS INITIALIZED PLEASE TURN OFF POWER.

Have check the battery voltage and its fine and looked inside the case for damaged wires bits rattling around ETC but no joy.

I have spoken with Futaba but their expert is currently on "Furlough" leave . So was just wondering if anyone has seen the issue before and if a solution was found???

Lots out there about this, software corruption, one guy got it buddy boxing, another got it using it on a flight sim, seems to be fixable, but it’s a return to service centre, I would protest though, it’s a known problem,
