Charging a Ni-Mh battery.

Postby Michael Ronan » October 20th, 2015, 8:02 pm

Hello. I have recently bought a new Sigma eQeco charger and a 4.8 volt 2200mAh Ni-Mh battery. My question is at what rate should I set the charger? Should I set it on Auto or Manual? I can find plenty of information on the web about discharging but nothing on charging. I look forward to a helpful reply please. Michael Ronan LMA 2081

Long time answering!
Depends on charge lead/connector, but NiMH packs easily false peak, so lower the better. I generally charge at 0.8-0.9A and always in manual with a NiMH
