Futaba 14 SG

Postby Dave Lowe » April 15th, 2013, 7:00 pm

I have recently bought a new 14 SG transmitter and while I was able to program most things quite easily and I have flown with it, after programing Ailerons / Rudder mix, and also Engine cut switch, I now seem unable to program in a flap to elevator mix.
1) Has anyone else had this type of problem ?
2) Can anyone show me how it should be done ?
3) IS there anyone in the Midlands area that could put me on the right track if I bought it to you.
This is posted in desparation, I've been trying to solve this for over a week now.
I'm not new to the hobby I've been flying radio since 1966 with various radios my last one being a FF 9 without any programming problems.
I've phoned Al's Hobbys as I bought it from there. They passed me onto Ripmax. Who then passed me to Futaba who informed me it was easy " just like my FF9". Grrr.......................

After all the frustation I shall now have a Scotch and look forward to another day :)

Thanks Alan I saw that about a week ago, From what I understand it's only available on Kindle at the moment and as I havent got one it's not much use.

Download the kindle app...you don't need a kindle then!
LMA Secretary - I've got a reasonable idea where you live!

Thank you, All sorted now thanks to my daughter and her Kindle and some very cleverwork with her computer to transfer the manual to me. Having read through it I can recommend this to anyone much better than the Futaba version which comes with the set.
