RC switch

Postby Chris Lane » April 27th, 2014, 6:20 pm

Guys - I was a mechanical engineer and I don't get on too well with the wiggly amps stuff. I need a switch (electronic or otherwise) in a model which changes state when I select a switch on the transmitter. I would have supposed that such an item was commonplace but I can't find one. Is it really necessary to provide a complete electro-mechanical servomechanism to just throw a toggle switch in the model?

Help please. . . . .

Chris

Chris,

Have you had a look at RS Components for a 6volt coil relay, you need a DPDT type, may be able to drive it with a servo amplifier.

Alternativly have a word with the Component shop in Wales, they have loads of electronic goodies, tell them your problem, they may be able to help.

Try SM Services, they make electronic switches that just plug into the receiver.
