I am building a airframe I have used two servos for elevators - one for each side.

I have set up a mix with elevator as the master channel and aux 4 as the slave which works fine and dandy BUT if I operate the elevator trim it only moves one side !!!!

Any ideas ???

Its a JR DSX9 2.4 tx.

I've checked the settings for my DC 3 in my DSX9. My split elevators are a mix of ele and aux 3, but that shouldn't make any difference to how you program it. Do not use a mix function. Go into device select menu and make sure aux 4 is inhibited at the bottom. Then go into wing type and select aux 4 under ele and inhibit on the bottom line marked trim. This should work for you, let me know how you get on. Jonesey.

I have tried that but in wing type when I click on the slave for elevator it doesnt pop out the box of choices.

I have inhibited my original mix and inhibited aux 4 in switch select.

I am sure its me being thick but any ideas are most welcome !!!

In device select (under aux 3 in my case), I've got aux 3 lev selected and then inh under that. I think if you program that in first, (or the equivalent for aux 4) it will then allow the menu box to be displayed in wing type.

I do know that programming is all about making sure certain switches or controls are inhibited before you can program other mixes in. Hope this helps. Jonesey.

It's been a while for me but don't you have to 'mate' the 2 channels first?

As David mentions, you need to first blank of Aux3/4 in order to create a paired channel.

Go to the SubMenu and DeviceSEL, go to the bottom right corner under AUX3/LEV and RUDD/D/R and make sure you have the OUT column set to INH for inhibit.

Then go to SubMenu and Wing TYPE and you will be able to go down to the Dual column and select the Mate function for ELEV and set it to AUX3. This will pair your AUX3 channel to the Elevator channel. With the Trim section you can activate to pair the trims together or leave inactive to do it individually though sub trims only.

When connecting servos, then one goes in ELEV and the other in AUX3.

Once paired you can still control individual sub trims and directions as per normal in the regular menu settings to get the best results.
