Hi
The on /off switch on my JR RD 922 power save Rx got its self broke ( don't ask) .now the manual tells me that I can not use a normal switch cos its wired differently. Now the plug is a standard three pin servo plug, but only two wires come out of the on/off switch , both are black. My question is how do I wire a new switch ?
Thanks for your time
Arthur.

Looking at the diagram, the switch connects the 2 black wires to each other when ON as the batterys connect directly to the Rx and not via the switch.

Thanks for the reply, but still not sure.
I have a plug with plus, minus and signal wires ,one of these wires goes to the switch and then back to another wire at the plug. But I do not know which wires to use.
Hope you can help
Thanks
Arthur

I have had a read on other forums, apparently the Rx is turned off by connecting the 2 wires together, at the Rx it is the 2 outer pins that are used.

That's quite right, the PowerSafe switches short the outer two connectors on the servo plug together to turn the receiver off.
If adapting a normal switch, you need to connect the signal and earth wires together with the switch to turn off, disconnect them to turn on.
