sure this will have been answered many times, but without trying to find it can you plug two batteries of equal capacity in to one receiver

You can, John, but when you have gone to that level, why not two receivers? Oh- and as the weakest link is always the switch, two switches?

I’ve just installed a Jomar Ultimate Battery Backer into a Cap232. Works just fine after some extensive testing. 2 identical batteries into 2 switches then into the UBB with one lead to the Rx. I’ve had it for a while and never got around to using it until now....I needed extra nose weight so an extra battery was useful ballast.
Though I have another model( Giant Mannock) which has 2 batteries, 2 switches into 2 Rxs with the control surfaces shared.
