Pming - the outbox

Hi

I've written a PM and think it has been "sent" but it's still sitting in the outbox, and I can't see a way to send it.

Is it the case that "sent pm's" always sit in the outbox until read by the recipient? Or do I need to do something else to send it and get it to move from the "outbox" to the "sent box"?

Apologies for the "noob" question, but I do find the pm interface confusing...

Yes, PM's sit in the 'outbox' until read by the recipient. The recipient is also sent an email by the forum to tell them they have received a PM. If they've changed email address & not updated their forum profile, they will never receive it though.
