Oleo advice

Postby Shaun Garrity » January 8th, 2023, 9:12 pm

Hi,
I've had a Seagull 1/3 scale Sparrowhawk artf sitting around for a few years . What's stopped me finishing it was the undercarriage. It's not great and would appear to be a weak point. Has anybody modded one of these with an oleo leg set up? If so what did you do please as the wheel pants are not that wide and look far too long.

Cheers,

Shaun

Isn’t the big one 85.5” span? Making it quarter scale? I’ve got a dead plan built one with a decent sprung undercart on it, it’s about to be thrown,

Hi Al,

It's the big one for a 62 cc motor.I thought that was 1/3rd scale. It is 85.5 span. I'll give you a call tomorrow.

Cheers,

Shaun.
