Is it a b o m b proof bunker of some sort, housing a telescope type doofer perhaps?

Thats the "thing" at Langham airfield. The Ghost Squadron are members of the Friends of Langham Airfield and help to support this rare wartime object.

So what was inside? Presumably a 'light' gun in the middle as well as the projector for the enemy? Any more info out there? I love these bits of history, favourite so far is the drone slinger!!
