Bsa Bantam

Postby chris willis » June 8th, 2012, 2:46 pm

Saw a local add today for radio control planes, so went along to have a look, what a load of toot, old 27mhz radio, merco engines, and fuel soaked buckle rabbits, anyway was chatting to the old Geeza for a while and got onto the subject of old motorcycles, come here he said and have a look at this, :o i looked in some old shed and there it was an early Bsa Bantam D1 with a box of bits, a complete bike, looks a bit scruffy but when i asked how much he said 30 quid  i tried to look calm and go in for the haggle but instead threw 30 quid at him. Well well chuffed with that and i thought i was coming home with models, instead i came home with this.
Well here goes, a renovation coming up. :D

alot of work but a bargain for 30 quid. You could sell the parts at an autojumble and more than triple your money!

All I can see in your original post is

Looking like you might come un-stuck with this one Willy. I would have liked to join in with the story of my Brough Superior barn find, but it turned out to be a 250 Superdream.
