I am aware that it can be difficult sometimes to avoid Events clashing, and admit to not knowing the background planning for the Strathaven Show 2014. The date chosen clashes with one of the Top Club Events, quite likely the biggest social event, Balbedie Club Midsummer one. I am puzzled as there are fairly free weekends in the Scottish Model scene Calender.

Happily, I will be at Balbedie. Sadly, I will not be at Strathaven.

Bob---thanks for that detail---its sad that the events clash--we have had the same date for last 2 years because its when the airfield is shut down---so I can only assume the Balbedie club have had to move from their usual date for some reason----DAVE

Thanks for comment Dave. I think I see how this happened. The Balbedie dates now published as 20th to 22nd. Sorry for any confusion... Means I CAN go to Strathaven
