Hi all, well this is not model related but I feel it is a nice story to share. Some of you may remember way back in 2013 when some of us where asked to help move XH603 to her new home on the Woodford site, (for thoughts of you who have forgot here is a link of me videoing the move https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jMbxk1xhHtM)
Well since that move a lot has happened, the Fire station where we moved her to was striped back to the framework and rebuilt into the Avro Heritage Museum, XH603 was repositioned and a garden built around her. Since then she has had extensive work done to make sure she is safe and finally over the last couple of months she has had a total facelift I am sure you will agree she looks fantastic one again. Well done to all that were involved and to the people that donated very large sums of money to get her back to this condition. If every you are visiting the area she is well worth a visit.
The unveiling of XH603 in all her glory and the part the LMA played will I hope feature in a future issue of the Journal, but for the time being I hope you enjoy the few shots I took.
