On a serious note for once I was pleased to see we had a royal visitor today at Coningsby and surrounding area. Prince Charles visited various places Louth, Tattershall Coningsby and he was very popular with the Lincolnshire people whom he met. and spent a lot of time chatting to a very friendly audience.
When he arrived at Coningsby by helicopter he was met by various RAF and other officialdom. As he was getting in to his transport a nearby spectator shouted to him welcoming him to Lincolnshire and asked if there was a special reason why he was wearing a fox fur hat. He quickly replied Well yes there is a reason, I was speaking to mommar last night and she asked me where I was visiting tomorrow. I told her Coningsby in Lincolnshire . She replied wear the fox hat
