A gentle reminder, please, to let me have your BBQ requirements in advance (see above).

Also, Dave and Jacqui will again be doing their tasty spiced, roasters to accompany the Bbq, and, on the Sunday evening a curry. They need to know numbers on the Sat. morning at the latest. They don't charge, but welcome a donation to our charity, Northumbria Air Ambulance.

Finally, BE EXTRA CAREFUL along the lane to the field. It has not avoided the 'national pothole scandal' and there's some corkers enroute!!

Look forward to seeing you then.

Keith

re. the catering ...
If anyone has any particular likes or dislikes then please tell us, and we will do our best to comply with them. (But we cannot promise!)

Last year some folk joined in with the cooking. If you fancy learning some simple Indian(ish) recipes do tell us and join us.

Also, if anyone wants us to bring some spices to Longhorsley for them contact us. (Indian spices are A LOT cheaper than buying them in a supermarket.)

We have a short recipe leaflet. If you want a copy we could bring some printed copies, or email you with the source of it. (Please make contributions to charity for this. Ta)

Thanks, Phil. Yes, a grand day - just said to the wife last night that I hadn't enjoyed a day as good as that for years; good weather, plenty of flying and excellent company...

What a fabulous weekend at longhorsley, a big thank you to everyone involved in making this weekend a big success. A big thank you to all pilots who turned up over the weekend to enjoy the flying, and of course a big thanks to the gods who supplied the wall to wall sunshine every day. It was great to meet up with old friends and new ones who enjoyed the banter, which can be as good as Flying. Everyone has had a great weekend. Looking forward to the next one.

Our thanks to David & Jacqui Whiteley (and their team of helpers) for the Sunday Night curry. It was most appreciated and realised £175 in donations for the Northumbria Air Ambulance.
