Northumbrian Model Aircraft Society May 26th - 29th Fly-in

Good afternoon all,

Reference my earlier posting on this event I am now able to confirm that the event will run as scheduled. As you can see we have a full 4 days scheduled for flying. Our flying times are 10-30 to 20-00 each day.
The site will open for arrivals on Thursday 25th May with departures by noon on the 30th.

It must be noted that in line with our Article 16 stipulations ONLY LMA Members will be permitted to fly.

We will have a toilet and waste disposal facilities as well as a water supply on site. Hot drinks and snacks will also be available in the club house over the 4 days.

The clubs spacious club house with an attached veranda will be open over the weekend and large models can be stored in the covered veranda overnight.

Caravans and camping facilities are available on site a large mown area is provided for this purpose. Pets are also permitted so long as they are kept under control as there may be sheep in the adjoining fields.

If you wish to attend the NMAS fly-in either as a day visitor or camping over with us could you please drop me an E Mail with the following information,

Name and LMA Number
Day visitor or camping
Arrival date and number in the group

If this is your first visit I will forward to you, directions to the site, GPS co-ordinates, Photographs of our site.

Finally the added bonus this year is that the following weekend the LMA will be hosting their first big show of the year at Redmarshall which is approximately 60 miles south from our site. The site will be open from the 30th so if you choose you can move there directly from Long Horsley. Pre-book is essential as there is limited space for camping and caravans on the site.
