NMAS " Long Horsley " September fly-in 21st-22nd 2024

Just a reminder that our fly-in as per the title will go ahead on the dates shown. Full details of the event are shown in my earlier posting.

At the moment we have not had a lot of response the flying site is in excellent condition and significant efforts have been made by the club to fully replace the veranda roofing and tidy up the club house.

Of course if you are local to the facility then a day visit is also fine.

Hi David , can you confirm that 21-22 is your fly-in, as the LMA site says it is the 28th, or is there two, thanks.

Hi Mark, the Longhorsley Fly-in is this coming weekend, 21st and 22nd September 2024. I don't know where the 28th came from but there is definitely nothing happening on that date.

On behalf of the Northumbrian Model Aircraft Society a big thank you to all those LMA members who supported our fly-in last weekend. The weather was less than perfect but much better than some other parts of the country and all those that wanted to managed to get some flying with a variety of models from WW1 biplanes to warbirds and jets. Attached are a few photos to give a flavour of the event for those like me that don't do "Facebook".
