This is just to confirm that our Fly-in for the 13th and 14th September will take place. Below are the details for the event.
This will be a 2 day event from the 13th to the 14th September. Flying times will10-30 till 20-00 . Caravan camping arrivals from Lunch time on the 12th and departures on the 15th.
The event is only open to LMA members and there is no charge for entries. If you are not an LMA member why not join the LMA now or join the association at the event.
The facilities we have on-site include a large club house with veranda and toilets and water are both available on site. A large mown area is available for Caravans and camping .
The flying strip lies East to West and is a mown strip suitable for all types of models and jets are welcome. The strip is approx 200meters by 60 meters.
The flying site is located approximately 6 miles outside of the village of Long Horsley and is around 20 miles North of Newcastle just off the A697.
Entries this year must be made via the events portal and as well as being an LMA member all pilots must have completed their Flying Proficiency theory test.
