Hello Everyone
I hope you all had a very nice Easter.
Just under two weeks to go until the
80th anniversary of VE-Day model meet at Tibenham.

Just a reminder the event is open to ANY model.
We normally have these types of slots,
WW1, Inter war years, WW2, Civilian, Jet,
Multi engine, foamies,
Gremlin (Are you ready Bruce) EDF etc, etc.
There is something for everybody.

Unfortunately, I received the email of regret from
the RAF Events team informing me that we had not been
successful with our bid for a flypast at this event.

As this is an 80th anniversary VE-Day event,
could everyone consider bringing along some
Union flag bunting and some cakes
we can set up a couple of tables and have
an early VE-Day street party.

As always there is a serious side to these events,
at Mid-Day we will remember those who gave so much,
and in thousands of cases gave everything. Plus we make
a point of remembering our own.

In closing we are guests of the NGC,
so best behaviour at all times please.
All we need now is some good weather.
Thank you.

Dear All
A big thank you to all those who supported the
80th anniversary of VE-DAY model aircraft event
at Tibenham last Friday. It was the biggest turnout
that we have had in years, which was pleasing to see.
Thank you all for that.

As usual there were plenty of stunning models present
and the flying was to a high standard and
in Dean's and Jake's case exceptionally high standard.

I would like to thank,
Byron A. Transceiver loan
Tony C. Model assembly
Mudders. Easy start inc.
Clive G. Cakes galore
Chris W. Cakes galore

John W. Hacksaw work
Chris. NGC marketing

Thank you all once again.
P.S. To top it all there was a Spitfire
over my house yesterday.

Regards Phil Goff
