Originally commissioned by one of our clients, this model is now for sale in a ready to detail/paint condition. It has been built by Fighteraces to our usual high standards and has been modified from the standard plan to incorporate scale shrouded hinging on all control surfaces. All control surfaces are fabric covered with stitching & pink tape detail.
Built to suit the Sierra Giant Scale articulating main gear + tailwheel + a Zenoah 80 twin.......these items would be a drop in fit for any new owner. Flat mount aluminium servo mounts are included in the wings + twin carbon pushrods on elevator & closed loop cables on rudder. A removable fuel tank box is also added to allow access to RX + throttle & choke servo positions in the top of the forward fuselage.
Main gear doors have been moulded in epoxy glass & are ready for hinging/attaching to the oleo struts later in the build.
The whole model is skinned in our of 48g glass cloth & L285 skinning resin. Final surface finish is grey cellulose primer which has been finished down to 600 wet & dry. All surfaces are detail/paint ready.
Asking price is £ 1,250.00.......a snip compared to the cost of a full commission build.
