Can anyone help, I need a piece of 1" dia pipe with a sharp bend. Could be ally or steel about 1.5 or 2mm wall thickness.

Have you thought about copper, the outside of 22mm fittings is about an inch.
We have all sorts of bending equipment at work, but that small bend radius on the inside makes it very difficult as the back of the bend has to stretch a lot and the inside of the bend tends to squash.
Could you do a 45 degree miter ?

Check out the local diy store for wall mounted grab handles that aid getting in or out of the bath etc. They are usually steel albeit white painted - you get 2 bends for the price of one !. . . and if they're no good for the model, you might fit them over your bath - useful now you're gettin on a bit . . . .

Hi Stuart, If you have the pipe you can cut at 45 deg and weld or solder. I have some off cuts from 1" wing tube if it helps.

Thanks chaps, think it's sorted now. Just gonna develop it from stainless sheet.
