Ian---you are correct---this is the smaller one with a Zenoah 38 with spring start in it---the other one is much larger--and has a parasol wing and powered by a 70c snowblower motor----they both were built by Arthur Searl and both have wing warping

I remember Dave with the Parasol in the very early days of Dawn Patrol, remember seeing the smaller one fly too, many moons ago! Any ideas as to how long it is since they've flown? I've had a couple of Arthurs models in the past, look forward to more pics.

the planes shown in the pics are the ones for sale at the moment, we may sell more but its hard enough to sell these as you can imagine. please be patient as i do not have all the details for these planes as they are all at my Mums in Corwen 20 miles away, i will post more details early in the week when i get there,

Alan---yes the larger one is 1/3 scale---the smaller one is 1/4 scale----I flew both of them for Dave over the years he owned them---they both havnt flown for several years,but Dave always maintained and looked after them well----the 1/4 one last flew approx. 4 years back at the Southport club site ,but the large one hasn't flown since Rougham show 5 years ago where we had 3 flights with it
