Thinking of selling my spitfire, it's not quite finished . It has a 50cc petrol engine well run in on my last bt spitfire. The exhaust is a work of art it exits on both sides where it should in fact on my last one i had smoke and there is a u tube video of it running.
I will gradually add photos when I can. It has unitracts air retracts. It can be viewed in Leeds. £700 ovno.

I have a detail kit for the cockpit and a very nice panel. Bought from Propag if I've remembered the name right.
I got all the laser cut parts and fiberglass parts from America.
It has a carbon fiber propeller and carbon fibre spinner.

This was my previous spitfire, so it's the same engine gone into the new one, but with another exhaust , I increased the exits from 6 to 8.
No smoke system this time, it was a bit messy,

No price, sensible offers considered.

I've seen things go very downhill when people put this in an ad :D

So just behind the door is a panel which pops open when pushed from inside here is the switch for the radio which also allows for two rec. Batteries . Inside the door is crowbar and a sprung lever handle which actually releases the door just like full size. The canopy runs nicely in its runners and locks nicely into the front screen.
On the dash panel is your switch to turn on the ignition. Also a brass knob, when pulled the choke goes on, after first burst of life from engine just blip the throttle and the choke goes off by itself, now it will run, mind the flames from the real exhaust...

Someone has asked for more pictures , i will keep adding them as I can.
It has a lovely sound from the engine probably because the exhaust is divided up into , originally 6 outlets, should be even better now as it has 8 outlets. So you don't get that normal barking two stroke sound.
You can see from the start of this sale the wing is all nicely painted up in SEAC. colours with hand painted roundels.
The Fuselage has been the subject of a build log on rc groups , and has caused great interest in America, because i used aluminium beer cans, all carefully cut to size and impressed with rivet detail. It gives it the most realistic look.

Ideal for a museum to put it on display, a dummy 4 blade prop and spinner.
at the end of the video is a picture of all the detail i added, all that is in a box to be used if needed along with the amazing stuff from propag. I could photograph the propag bits they are very realistic. The pilot in the video is also included, he was modified by me to make him lighter, so from the chest down he is balsa wood, even got hinged legs.

Sold to a guy in a remote part of Scotland, he has a full size bush plane and his own grass strip to fly from. Good news is I can go for a holiday and see the Spitfire progress.

Got this email today, great news she flies....

Hi Colin

Trust all is well

Thought I would give you a quick update on the spitfire.

Wind was straight down the runway today at about 8 kts and the spit has been sitting ready for a few weeks anxiously waiting for some air under the wings.

Engine running smoothly. Time to throttle up and commit.

All worries left behind. No trim required and as smooth as I could have hoped for.

Well done you for a great build.

Cheers.

Bob
