The 40 year old Phoenix Flying Club has a few vacancies for the current year. We have a 24 acre site with approximately two acres of cut runway located between Wolverhampton and Stafford WV10 7DL approximately 2 miles from Junction 12 M6 Gailey. There is a hard track off the road and members fly ‘out of their boot’ as the pilot box is adjacent to the parking area. We have a heated 20 foot shipping container as a ‘club hut’. The site is available for all disciplines of model flying however there are only two vacant spaces for members who wish to fly turbine models. No committee’s just friendly members, so long as they have current insurance with either the BMFA or LMA organisations. The field is 300yds down Deepmore lane , Straight mile , Calf Heath, go and have a look by yourself you will be impressed.
