Large Model Association Forum

Does anyone please have a spare canopy for a Top flite giant scale Zero? Or perhaps can point me in the right direction.

If only you had asked a few weeks ago, Dino, of Meister scale models in Florida, is doing the large scale Topflite model range, after their stupid demise, he did me an FW190 giantscale one, canopy was 57 Dollars, but, unless your going to Florida any time soon, shipping to here is mental, depends how much you want it!

Many thanks for the lead Alan. Paul Dudley of Kingfisher actually built my Zero. Turns out he has has had dealings with Dino and needs other stuff from him, so hopefully he can add a Zero canopy to his order.

Might be an idea for Paul to get a range of the TF spares Dino does, lots of guys over here have the TF models,

Hi Alan,
My son managed to contact Dino on Facebook. He asked that Paul should email him 1st with a shopping list before phoning. Paul sent him quite a list including my Zero canopy, but so far no reply. I was with Paul today and he said he would now try and phone. I'm also getting my son to try and chivvy him to respond to Paul's email. You got any better ideas please???

Dino will respond, busy lad, I had my Canopy sent up to Steve & Julie Thomas, of BoBs hobbies, in St Cloud Orlando, picked it up when we visited, but Dino treated the order for 1 canopy as he would treat a multi item order, brilliantly! There’s also a Top Flite site on Facebook, run by Dino,

Situation with replacement canopies from Dino seems to be slow.
Situation with Dino is that email and phone calls between Paul Dudley at Kingfisher don't seem to happen. Son Jason has managed some communication via Facebook, and the situation now is Paul has had an invoice and paid in USD for the canopies and shipping about 10 days ago, since which time no response or shipping info. Jason seems to think a health issue might be the problem.
Just wondering if you have any means of contact with Dino, or other suggestions to speed things up

Good news Alan.
Just had a call from Paul Dudley. He's just had a call from forwarders for the VAT so they should be here next week. Be interesting to see how the price works out. I think he ordered 6 various canopies in total so they should be available if anyone else needs one

Be interesting to see how much they are, mine was the big artf FW190

Hi Alan,
My canopy for the Topflite Zero turned up last week. It turned up unpainted, not the green as ordered. It ends up at £80 here, about double the $55 ex Dino. Not cheap, but there's not much alternative.
