This model is a rare one off! It is a scaled up Gordon Whitehead design, 117 in span. Weighing approx 56 lbs with a radial but now being sold with a DLE170. It has CAA exemption papers which may require renewal this summer. The models best characteristic is its flying simplicity and excellent ground handling. It has basic scale outline but little attempt has been made to create a true scale finish. Painted predominately in white, with red trims,copying a full size found on the Internet. I have plenty of photos if anyone is interested. Radio gear it very basic. I use twin receivers with two power packs powering analogue Hitec servos.
This model causes interest at the flying field but I need to sell in anticipation of house downsize. It now deserves to be enjoyed by someone new.
I am looking for approximately £1000, depending on interest. Engine could be sold separately if new owner wants to replace with a radial( as originally fitted).
