I built this model in 2021 from a Slec kit. It’s a 1/4 scale, with a wingspan of 103 ins. The model is all balsa construction.
Covered in glass cloth and epoxy resin, with panel lines and rivet detail added. Finished with Klass Kote epoxy paint in the desert colour scheme of a full size W11 aircraft. With light weathering added. All the decals are from Flight Line Graphics. The large twin sided cockpit has a lot of scale detail including a pilot and passenger.
The central section of the wing including the undercarriage has been built into the fuselage with just the two smaller outer wing sections to be attached. This makes it very easy to transport and assemble.
With a dry weight of 15kg powered by a Valach 60cc motor it makes it an easy model to fly. A build article appeared in the December 2021 edition of RCM&E. £2.200.00
