pink foam

Postby Steve Perry » November 12th, 2016, 8:18 pm

Does anyone that is going to the AGM have any that they would like to part with ?

It is actually 'knauf eco board', but I am unable to find somewhere that stocks it :(
There are some 8x4 sheets on ebay, but 'buyer collects" a long way from me :(

I contacted knauf and they have stopped manufacture of it. I now buy blue foam from Sig insulation. They have depots all over the uk i think. 8ftx2ft boards.

Do you need large sheets, for cutting wing core for example or smaller pieces? I can't help with full sheets but I do get large lumps of blue foam offcuts which I have been using as a Balsa block substitute for quite a while now, both in airframes and when making cowl plugs etc.
Any good to you?

I only need offcuts, I can get blue from the coach builders next door to work whenever they build a refrigerated lorry.
