Seamaster with DLE 30
Posted: May 9th, 2017, 4:27 pm
I built this Seamaster myself from the original Ace Seamaster 120 kit. It is covered in Solartex with Solarlac top coat. The engine is a DLE 30 which I bought new for this build. The engine starts and runs faultlessly and is perfect for this model. The prop is a Biela 3 blade and all servos are water proof, again all new for this build. She is in excellent condition having done approx. 20 flights and never crashed or repaired. This is testament to how well she flies. Low wing loading (There is no lead required) and fantastic water handling. High speed taxiing a speciality. Good action photos in RCME vol58 no 4. (April 2015) Flying photos here:

I have placed the advert here because this model would make an excellent introduction, or practice model for anyone intending to build a scale seaplane or floatplane or something a little larger than the norm.
Last weekend I had four flights at the Colwick Park fly-in, all without a hitch. I will be sorry to see her go. £600.00, add your rx and battery and fly.
