SAVOIA MARCHETTI SM79. 1:5.3scale

Up for sale is my 1:5.3 scale Savoia Marchetti SM79 Italian torpedo bomber.
Scratch built myself from Don Smith plans the model has a span of 13 feet and a length of 10feet. It is traditionally built from balsa and ply weighing 30kg.
It is powered by 3 new on the model zenoah 38s with BCM silencers and carb bends, it has unitract retracts.hitec 645mg servos and life 6.6v batteries.
It is finished in glass cloth on the wings and tail and text on the open fuselage. Then painted in cellulose.

The model flys superb and has flown at several shows - Cosford, Much Marcle and Strathaven ,the link below is to a picture of it flying at Strathaven

It has been through the LMA over 20kg scheme and has all relevant documents to fly.
A unique and great flying model,it has a working bomb bay and has even looped like the full size did.
