YT FW190 "big" Electric

This is a converted YT FW 190. It has a very powerful electric brushless outrunner motor, the Thumper C8085, which confers on it performance rather better than the original had (6KW!) . It has 26 LiFe Cells arranged in two rows in the cowl, wired in a 13 S 2P configuration, so 43V. It has a safety connection system in the underside exhaust vent, and balance ports in the underside of the fuselage blister so they are discrete. It is fitted with a Maverick 100A speed controller. All of this is cooled by a close fitting scale fan behind the spinner, just like the original. It has the original YT retracts in it, but I have added a retract pneumatic tailwheel. The orginal composite wing was heavy and weak, so this has been replaced by the later built up wing. It has Hitec digital servo all round and a NiMh battery for the electronics. There is no lead in it to balance it, so it weighs what an IC one weighs, without the noise, mess and vibration.
There is a dent in the spinner but I have a second spinner for it. There is a crack in the canopy but fortunately it is in the flat front parts so this can be replaced with flat panels. Add a receiver and fly. £400 collection only,
Tel 07932669895 or email john.jmcnamara@btinternet.com for pictures.
I have tried to add pictures here, but having reduced the pictures to the minimum possible file size, they are still too big- pointless.
