For sale is my Mick Reeves 1:4 scale MKVIII Spitfire “Fargo Express”
This model is completely ready to fly, it is over 20 kg and has a current permit to fly but you’ll need to get a new permit and do your hour on it.
It is a fairly old model and was damaged in a landing incident at Cosford a couple of years ago. I was properly repaired under the watchful eye of my LMA inspector and has flown twice since the repair was completed. It’s very nice to fly and handles very well, it’s a real reluctant sale but I need the space and money for a couple of projects nearing completion.
It does have a one piece wing 110” but to be fair the wing isn’t much longer than the fuselage.
It comes with a DLE 85 which has had less than thirty flights, brand new oleos, Ray Slack retracts, High spec futaba and savox servos, batteries were new last summer and two Futaba r/x’s(I’m happy to remove these and reduce the price)
It also has a top quality spinner and backplate.
The parts alone would cost more than I’m asking @ £1150ono
This is a bargain price for an airworthy Warbird of this size.
