Roedel Modellbau Piper, 2.7m, Zenoah 62 on Roedel/Tony Clarke Hydromount (new for this model) so quiet and Canister exhaust (if I remember correctly MTW or Tony Clark), Tony Clark Easy Start system, Inos Electronic dual rx battery supply, glider tow release and inflatable wheels.
Can come with two r/c parachute jumpers, one small, one fairly substantial, see pics the ruler is 30cm to give you an idea. The parachute release boxes can be mounted/unmounted easily using 4 bolts. Perfect for a second pilot or if you have grandchildren :)  (the arms go up or down this is how you steer, both arms down and the jumper flares). The bigger jumper was a direct import from the US and custom made. The batteries in the jumpers will need to be replaced.
The Piper is in very good but by no means in 100% perfect condition, some slight fuel discoloration on the cowl for example. I probably “overbuilt” it so a bit on the heavy side but with this wing area you would not notice and it flies very well indeed. There are some lights in the wings but they are not very bright. Model has currently a Futaba R6014HS receiver in, can be included or taken out.
I have not flown the model for some time so cannot guarantee that everything works 100%, this also applies to the parachute jumpers, but the last time I used them they worked perfectly fine. I am not aware of any problems, but the sale is as seen. For someone who is willing to invest a bit of time it will really make a brilliant and interesting model with a bit of a difference.
Collection only from Tynemouth near Newcastle. Any questions please let me know. Open to sensible offers.
