Most reluctant sale,

Postby Alan Cantwell 1131 » February 21st, 2020, 6:15 am

In my advancing years, I have come to realise that my aims outweigh my remaining life span, so, something’s need to go, I have, very reluctantly, decided to part company with my Meister kit of the FW190 D9, it’s essentially a kit that needs the addition of some wood sheet parts, giving you all the complicated stuff cut to shape, ithas a full set of plans, mouldings for gun cover, side air brake, cowling, there’s a full canopy, it also has a billet machined spinner, with heavy duty backplate, this alone would cost £160 to buy. I would consider swaps, for a smaller, more storable, more manageable D9, or indeed, anything, span is a 102” i also have a full set of plans for the retracts, and scale wheels, and would suggest John Brooks to machine them, total cost of all this adds up to a mind boggling £875. Selling at £395: Anyone interested, please contact me to discuss swaps, or price, pictures of mouldings etc, can be emailed,

I’ve got too much going on to get this built, I’ve got plenty of others, and I’ve come to realise I just don’t have the storage anymore, stuffs getting damaged, there’s going to be a 75% clearout this year, that’s a lot of models, not to mention boxes and boxes of engines, servos, this is just the start,

I always work on the pretext that if one was interested, one would ask, price is now on, £395, Simon, I’ve just seen your email, thank you, but it’s not for me, plus it would be just another model that needs work, no time for that, sorry, but thanks for the offer,

Well, can’t believe there’s no interest in a pile of stuff that’s brand new, less than half price, guess all the builders benches are full for this year, well, eating nothing, back in the attic it goes,
