Re: Wanted,Temperature operated cowl flaps

I have run into a few issues that are delaying things, I have mislayed some components ( I suspect my wife has put them somewhere ), and have replacements on order, some components arrived with illegible labeling and have become mixed with others with illegible labeling for other projects, a component tester will be here at the end of the week to sort mess out, and the final tweeks to the software are throwing error messages LOL
What I can do is to solder one with the parts necessary for the case to fit, and give it to a friend with a 3D printer to work with :)

A quick update, my tame 3D printer expert has sold his, my next option was a friend with a rather old printer, that died :(
I have now bought a 3D printer and have to learn to use CAD software :(
If anyone is interested, the printer is a Flsun Q5 Delta, it cost £163 from Bangood and has great reviews :)

The price has gone up from other sources due to the good reviews and Big Clive buying one !

Sounds great, I'm sure you will find many uses for the printer.

A disaster happened at Christmas, my laptop died :(
Everything was backed up except for the 3D printng cad files for this lol
The good news is that I have re done the CAD files for the case, photos soon :)

Next I have to install all the Arduino stuff, tweek the code and program the chips.

Getting close to finishing this :)

Steve, how's it going? Spring will be here soon and so will the flying season. I need at least two units, any more news?

Spring will soon be sprung and a few heat sensitive springs may solve the problem if the electronics don't.
