Large Model Association Forum

Hi All,

In this extended building season, I find myself in need of a large canopy, nine and half inches wide and a minimum of fifteen inches long (245mm x 375mm) Longer would not be problem.

It's for a 1/3 Bede BD8

A suitably sized canopy from one of the large Cap type aerobatic types might adapt. Can anyone point me in the right direction to locate one??

Hi All,
I have been shown a canopy for a Glens Models Cap 232 of around 90 inch span. The canopy for that is about the right size but it's still attached to a functional model so not available.

Anyone have a similar canopy of a lead as to where I might get one. I take it the Glens Models is now defunct?? I haven't heard anything about them for a few years now

Have you tried phoning Glenn?

I know the website is years out of date (but then it generally was!) but it is still there. He is very helpful and I bought a canopy for a 30% CAP from him a few years ago. The new ones are far less brittle to the point it was posted to me loosely rolled up!

Steve, Chris, Thank you both for the helpful suggestions. I have put in a call to Sarik this afternoon. They are going to look on Monday and get back to me. I had no idea that Glens Models were still on the go so thanks for the tip.
