Hi
I'm after a set of retracts for a ziroli p51 mustang. Either air or electric. Or drawings so I can make my own. Cheers

I have brand new unused set complete with scale wheels and alloy hubs bought for an uncompleted Ziroli 51 project. They were produced by Dave Brown and are based on the Sierra units.
Let me have an email adress and contact details and I'll email you some pics tomorrow.
I'm based in Warwick

Can't directly help I'm afraid, but I'm building one of these too. It's designed for the Robart 145 mains which drop straight in. I wanted to use electrics, so got a set of Electron ER50's with Robart 682 main legs and 6 inch wheels.

Reverse engineering the wing to take the ER50's was 'challenging' but I think I've cracked it. I'm using the Robart mechanical tail wheel retract too.

Very hard to find stuff in the UK now so I got the Robart bits directly from Robart themselves, they only took 5 days to arrive!

How far have you got with the kit so far ?

Hi, in the post above I offered you my Dave Brown Sierra style retracts, and I didn't hear back from you.I have since split them and sold the oleos for good money, but the brand new Sierra style pneumatic units and 5.5" tyre and alloy rims are still available. These are now with Paul Dudley of Kingfisher Aviation on 07947553737. He has a good stock of oleos to make a full set or sell the parts individually. Contact him for a good deal if you're interested.
