Regrettably i am selling my Balsa USA based one third scale 116" Super Stearman. This is an exceptional example of the famous PT17. Powered by a ZDZ 160cc twin with a Walbro carb upgrade enabling a Beila carbon 32" prop to be swung. LMA registered monitored and signed off. All recommended airframe modifications have been incorporated into the build, including a removable stab and fin/rudder assembly. Life batteries x3 for RC and sub c's for Power box smoke system. Savox digital titanium geared servo's, 2 on elevator, 1 on each aileron, 1 on rudder. Futaba metal geared servo's on throttle, remote choke and custom built steerable tailwheel. Full cockpit detail including aluminium windscreen frames, leather cockpit combing, throttle and mixture levers, rudder bars, radio, fire extinguisher and even locker with key and keyring ! Sierra undercarriage struts, aluminium undercarriage fairings. All rib tapes and rib stitching, rivets, screws and hatch catches, pitot tube, elevator trim tabs etc etc faithfully reproduced, as is the centre section fuel tank, with filler cap and fuel lines. Painted emerald green and cream in automotive 2 pack paint to a faultless finish. This model is truly an outstanding scale miniature replica. Everything new for this build except the engine. Unfortunately i am downsizing and can no longer find the space to home such a large model.
